Dr. Shani Davis received Bachelor’s and Master’s in Nursing Science degrees from Florida A&M University. She also earned a Doctorate of Philosophy in Nursing from the University of South Florida in 2013. She has worked, presented, and instructed on Advanced Diabetes Management Strategies throughout Florida. She has served on the American Diabetes Association (ADA) Tampa Community Leadership Board, Tampa’s Central City Urban YMCA Community Board, as well as on national planning committees for the ADA and the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists. She also holds membership in a host of professional and civic organizations, including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
